Twenty nine products · Every number printed
A 20 cm tin is not a 20 cm tin.
Some are measured across the base and some across the rim, and the difference is about 200 ml of batter. Nobody prints the number that matters, so we do: every tin on this site states its interior dimensions and its batter capacity in millilitres, before you mix anything.
Four ranges. Each one a complete set.
Buy a single piece to replace something that finally wore out, or a range at a time and have a kitchen that works. Nothing in the catalogue exists to pad it out.
Mixing and Measuring
Bowls, scrapers, whisks, cups and sieves. Everything that happens before the dough exists.

Pins, bannetons, scrapers and lames, for the part where you handle the dough yourself.
7 products · Rolling Pins, Proofing and ShapingTins and Moulds
Cake tins, tart rings and small moulds, with the internal dimensions and the batter capacity stated.

Sheets, racks, mats, nozzles and palette knives, for the oven and everything after it.

A muddled spec is how you end up with a cake over the side of the tin or a banneton too small for the dough. So we state the same fields on every product, every time, measured by us, and where one is missing it is because it does not apply.
How we choose what to sell| Material | What it is made of, and specifically what touches the food. Not “metal”, but hard anodised aluminium, tinned copper or coated carbon steel. |
|---|---|
| Capacity | Batter capacity for tins, dough weight for bannetons, volume for bowls. In millilitres and fluid ounces. |
| Dimensions | Interior, not exterior, on anything you put a mixture into. Exterior is what catalogues print and it is the wrong number. |
| Weight | Empty, on our own scale. Weight is how a rolling pin behaves in the hand and it is the spec most often left out. |

Not sure? Email contact@salvaroshop.com with what you want to bake and we will tell you which of these you do not need yet. The copper canele moulds are wonderful and almost nobody should buy them first.
Moulded pulp and kraft paper. Never foam.
We hold stock in a small warehouse in the United States and pack every order ourselves. Bannetons and copper moulds are wrapped individually, tins go into moulded pulp and the voids are filled with paper. Orders placed before 2pm Mountain Time leave the next business day, tracked, and shipping is free with no minimum.
Occasionally something still arrives damaged. When it does, send a photograph and we replace it at our cost, without asking for it back.
Shipping and deliveryAsked before a first order.
Is shipping really free?
Yes, on every order to every US address, with no minimum. No handling fee and no oversize charge, including on the cooling rack and the turntable.
How do I know a tin will fit my recipe?
Every tin states its interior dimensions and its batter capacity in millilitres. Compare the capacity, not the width: two tins both sold as 20 cm can differ by 200 ml, which is the difference between a level cake and one over the side.
What if I do not like it?
Thirty five days to send it back, unused and in its box, for a full refund or an exchange. We email you a prepaid label, so it costs you nothing.
Can anything go in the dishwasher?
The stainless, the silicone and the palette knives. Nothing non stick, wooden, marble or copper. Dishwasher detergent is alkaline and it is what strips coatings and takes the tin lining off copper.
